Ashar Alo Society is an organization of PLHIV working for those infected with and affected by HIV and AIDS, for improving the quality of life, ensuring rights and services, encouraging greater & meaningful involvement, capacity enhancement of PLHIV group and contributing to HIV prevention in Bangladesh
Objectives:
- Improve policies and practices to ensure efficient organizational functions.
- Develop and strengthen comprehensive services to ensure quality care for infected with and affected by HIV & AIDS in a cost effective manner.
- Enhance capacity of the human resources to efficiently and effectively support in achieving the mission of the organization
- Establish an efficient financial management system and strengthen financial sustainability of the organization
- Ensure an enabling environment for PLHIV by reducing stigma and discrimination associated with PLHIV in the family, community, institutions and in the workplace.
- Increase ability to disseminate high quality information to improve the quality of life of PLHIV and building awareness of the key issues and impact of the disease and prevention.
